Crime Scene Evidence
Hi Grimm Fans,
At the conclusion of 4.22, Cry Havoc, we are left with several corpses and a lot of other forensic evidence. So the crime scene investigation needs to proceed. I have no police training but I found some ideas at these:

http://www.practicalhomicide.com/Research/PhyEv.htm
I believe it will be useful to assemble a list of pieces of evidence that proper law enforcement could discover. Some evidence will be gathered by police and some will be part or the coroner’s reports.
The episode is well named since much of the murder and mayhem occurred as havoc with little time for the perpetrators to wipe the crime scene clean of incriminating evidence. There is plenty to investigate.
Chavez is at Nick’s house and may alter the crime scene to cover up something. She told the FBI thugs to “get her.”
In the house we have Kelly’s head and Juliette’s corpse. Will they find Kelly’s torso? The investigators should collect hairs, fibers, dirt, dust, blood and other bodily fluids, as well as skin cells, metallic residue and other microscopic materials. The house will provide much of this type of evidence. The investigators should recognize evidence of sexual activity in the bedroom including Kenneth’s semen. There may be blood on the widow Juliette smashed with Nick’s body. It seems that Kenneth and the Verrat Hundjägers murdered Kelly in the back yard, so there should be blood, footprints, finger prints, weapon marks, and damage caused during the struggle.
The coroner’s autopsy of Juliette’s corpse will likely focus on the crossbow bolts puncturing her chest. The crossbow will have a fresh set of Trubel’s fingerprints. Whose prints are on the bolts? Was it Nick’s crossbow? If so, can ownership be traced? They should discover semen in Juliette that matches what is in the bedroom. When they test Nick, it should be clear it was not his semen.
The dead neighbors and their premises should have a lot of evidence similar to Nick’s back yard and house.
Back at the King’s hotel suite there is that Hundjäger head to investigate. Are there blood traces on Trubel’s machete?
There are a lot of corpses at the Royal Compound outside of Portland. How much evidence will show up directly linking the Scooby Gang? For example, it seems possible some of Hank’s blood is on Rispoli’s corpse.
Kenneth’s corpse will have traces of Nick on it. In addition, the last attack by Jack (Renard) failed and the victim will likely be asked to view Kenneth’s body. Will she say “wrong guy?” What if Renard is on TV to speak about all the murders and the victim recognizes him? Regardless, Kenneth’s DNA will match the DNA from the semen found in Juliette and on Nick’s bed.
Will King Frederick’s corpse be found? What evidence might it provide? What will the press release say about his death?
I doubt Portland PD will have Detective Nick Burkhardt involved in this investigation. For that matter, he may be implicated. So Grimm fans help me understand how these pieces of evidence will nail the bad guys and exonerate the Scooby Gang.
