The uncle was a book collector which is why he did not destroy them. To be realistic. I could not imagine any other Grimm buy them from the uncle. They would have done just like BC and taken them.
This is interesting to me because it puts a light on something that Grimm has never really touched upon. Do all wesen hold the same views as the bad apples we see each week?
I'm thinking they probably do not and are just as varied as humans are. Both Monroe and his uncle hold a high respect for all writings, whether they were penned by a Grimm or a wesen. I tend to think there are probably many more wesen out there who do as well, from Blutbad to Manticore.
Just as a side note, I'm curious as to what others on the forum think. Is it possible that there are species of wesen who have mated with humans to the extent that they have bred out their wesen traits?
