First I wanted to say that you didn't have to be a royal to wake Juliette, I'm sure it helped but according to Adalinds mother you needed to be "pure of heart " I believe is how she put which is why Sean had to drink that awful stuff and why Nick also had to drink it to reverse the spell , plus a little of his blood.Didn't Adalind mother tell Kelly only he could wake her? So it must have required a person with royal blood to break the spell on Juliette. So it took both royal blood and the pure of heart.
Also I think when Adalind told Juliette " it was a whopper" she was talking about something other then just how much fun she had with Nick I'm pretty sure we all know what she was really talking about. Actually when Juliette is in the police station and repeats to Nick what Adalind said she sort of looks briefly to the area I am talking about, but over and above that I think Adalind was just trying to say anything she could to be as cruel and hateful as she could be to Juliette. As always just my opinion.
Now later when they used Nick's blood to break the spell after effects he had to undergo pure of heart. Someone posted (sorry can't remember who) that Nick blood was only in Juliette's drink. They were correct I had to rewatch it to see that Rosalee only added Nick's blood to Juliette cup. Now for a good question could Nick blood also be key to the ring?
Now because you add blood to this could a Grimm's blood also have the same effect on a Zauberbiest as it has on a hexenbiest?
